"I am amending the very positive review I wrote 2 weeks ago. The owner's response was based on my positive review from 2 weeks ago. This amended review is based on the lack of an acceptable resolution. I am extremely disgusted by the customer service I've received from this company. My mortgage company was billed twice for Hazard Insurance by State Farm, which caused my escrow account to go negative. Instead of immediately refunding the extra payment, they kept it and refused to give it back. As a result, my mortgage payment has increased by $50 a month, effective immediately to take care of the shortage over the next year. I've tried in good faith to get this issue resolved, which simply involves a refund of the double payment. For nearly a month, State Farm has held the double payment with multiple promises to issue a refund. I spoke to my insurance agent, who took no ownership of the problem until I complained to the owner. I spoke to the owner, who acknowledged my frustration but has not resolved my issue. I don't believe any of the employees at this company care because it's not impacting their wallet. I hate that I had to write this review. However, I feel that others need to be aware before they consider switching insurance companies. I would hate for someone else to be out several hundred dollars with no resolution in sight."
